He began his career with a modest beginning that eventually led to his becoming a Hollywood TV actor. Best known for playing Eric Brady, Jason Teague and Dean Winchester on popular American television shows. He is the recipient of numerous awards and honors. He is not only an actor but also has experience in directing and producing. He directed a few of episodes on Supernatural and has received praise for the same. He describes himself as a nondenominational Christian.
